Appcroplis Challenge: Developers, Get In NOW

2013 Arch Grants Winner Appcropolis has launched an online competition for developers using its product offering to benefit St. Louis startup Independent Youth.

Appcropolis is a platform that allows developers to easily create mobile apps that work across all devices. Appcropolis’ founder, Raul Sanchez was previously the project leader for the development of Hulu.com .  “I created Appcropolis because as a developer, I was frustrated to see how inconsistently web browsers’ rendering-engines worked at the time I was learning to code.  This gave me the idea for Appcropolis.”

As part of its competition, Appcropolis has made its library of templates available for developers to create a mobile website for Independent Youth, a nonprofit that seeks to, “empower today’s teens to become tomorrow’s business leaders and entrepreneurial innovators.”

 

Competition Open Until March 30th, Prizes Offered

“We wanted to offer some cool prizes to people that want to compete,” said Sanchez, “and who doesn’t love iPads?”
