Arch Grants Hosts Webinar For 2013 Applicants

Arch Grants applicants: want to get the inside scoop on what the judges are looking for when they review your materials next month? If the answer is yes, you have to check out this free webinar hosted by Arch Grants Executive Director Sarah Spear that will take place today from 12:30 to 1:30 CST. “In our second round, Arch Grants is hosting a webinar to enable us to interact directly with entrepreneurs outside of St. Louis. In addition to gaining insight into what we look for in the initial applications, entrepreneurs will be able to ask and have their questions answered in real-time during the webinar. We plan to record the webinar and make it available on our website for those unable to attend,” said Spear. Topics that will be covered include: * 3 Focal Areas for a Submission * How the Judging Process Works * The Rules for the Competition * Designated Grants * How to Set Your Submission Apart * Q & A session The decision to host a webinar to help applicants present the best “overall package” to the judges was not in reaction to poor applications, but rather a proactive approach to make the judging process smoother. Application will be decided upon by judges from industries that match each applicant. Initial applications are due on January 1, 2013, and finalists weekend will take place on April 27-28, 2013. The winners of the $50,000 grants will be announced in May. Arch Grants takes no equity, and offers discounted office space, connections to additional funding opportunities, mentoring, and pro bono awards from top business service providers. Applicants must be willing to relocate and grow their business in St. Louis to be eligible. To attend the free webinar this afternoon, register here.
