Pixable Adds Twitter to Supported Services

Today Pixable announced the integration of Twitter into its service. The New York-based startup is known for helping you find the best photos and videos shared by your social network. Pixable gathers and streams photos and videos shared by the friends you follow on Facebook and now Twitter. The app organizes photos and videos into a customized feed (think Flipboard) pulling from Twitter as well as from other services, including the beloved Instagram, TwitPic, yFrog, and YouTube.

“Millions of photos and videos are shared every day on Twitter, but discovering and viewing them is extremely difficult,” says Inaki Berenguer, CEO & Co-founder of Pixable. Some days it’s impossible to keep up with your feeds and maybe you are that person who wants to see every cat and planking picture shared. (We’re not judging.) With Pixable you can browse your feed, view the messages and comments that accompany them, and even add comments of your own. Photos and videos are divided into categories like Top of the Day, New Profile Pics, My Likes & Comments, etc., and arranged in a simple and elegant design. The best photos are determined by the number of likes and comments on them as well as your interactions within your social networks. You can also teach Pixable which people you’d prefer to see more from by clicking on the + or – buttons below the photo. Pixable is also available for your iPhone and iPad. You can read more features and updates on Pixable’s blog, or follow them on Twitter @pixable.
