Today St. Louis Startup BusyEvent has announced they have raised $1.2 million B round of financing following their A round in 2013, bring their total funding raised to date at $3 million. BusyEvent’s mobile DataKeys system allows twenty five different attendee interactions to be tracked through the life cycle of an event they are attending and is made available for purchase by speakers. conference organizers, exhibitors and sponsors immediately, thus increasing their value. “BusyEvent has developed a powerful set of unique capabilities targeted at the for-profit event organizer market,” said lead investor and BusyEvent advisor Mark H. Zorensky, president of Hycel Properties Co.  “The team’s vision for driving new profitability from events, in combination with providing arobust, attendee-centered event app, is incredibly compelling from both a mobile and revenue standpoint.  We’re excited to have this kind of entrepreneurial technology team in St. Louis, and to help BusyEvent capitalize on major growth opportunities.”
