Tech Wildcatters: Application Deadline July 24th

Dallas seed accelerator Tech Wildcatters is closing the door on applications for its upcoming Fall class on July 24th. To submit an application, visit its website, but before you do, here’s some background information and tips. Tech Wildcatters is the only seed accelerator in Dallas. After one year in operation, it has successfully launched 12 companies that have created 65 jobs and will generate over $2.8 million in revenue in 2011. The aggregate valuation of these companies has increased from $5 million to $25 million in less than a year with multiple investments from Tier 1 venture capital firms such as Walden Ventures and Austin Ventures. A group of finalists will be chosen to pitch their ideas in Shark Tank fashion in front of Tech Wildcatters investors, from which 7-10 companies will become part of the Fall class of companies. Selected companies will receive up to $25,000 in seed funding in exchange for 5-8% common stock. ————- For more information, visit the Tech Wildcatters website.
