This Is NOT A Test: Robot Controls Human

Researchers from the Montpellier Laboratory of Informatics, Robotics, and Microelectronic have developed a robot that can control a human limb using electrodes. By sending small electrical currents to electrodes taped to a users forearm and biceps, the prototype robot can manipulate a users’s elbow and hand.

Researchers hope the technology will one day be able to activate the limbs of people suffering from paralysis and other motor-limiting disabilities and potentially help them to regain some of their motor skills. While scientists say the project is still in the proof-of-concept stage, a crowd at IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS)  were shown an demonstration of how the amazing  human-machine interaction could work.
